MCUD has a new Director
Jake Somers was sworn into the vacant board of directors' position at the regular MCUD board meeting on November 13, 2025. Special guest Texas Senator Kevin Sparks administered the oath to Jake and thanked him personally for his commitment and generosity for taking on the position. Congratulations Jake! November 13, 2025

The Commissioner's Court will consider an agreement with the Midland County Utility District (MCUD) involving funding and reimbursement. Interlocal agreements like this often involve infrastructure projects where the county and MCUD share costs or coordinate services. November 17, 2025
