If you live within the MCUD service area and are interested in connecting to the future MCUD water system, we encourage you to join our water interest database.

Midland County Utility District (MCUD) will ask voters in late 2026 to consider a bond to fund the build-out of more water infrastructure projects which are designed to extend system capacity and enhance service reliability.

Water
The Midland County Utility District (MCUD) provides a range of essential services to the community, including water procurement and storage, water management and distribution, and infrastructure improvements. Our goal is to ensure the efficient and sustainable delivery of clean water and the proper management of available water within our service area.

Our District is committed to undertaking various projects aimed at building and enhancing the water infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and safety of the water systems, and meeting the evolving needs of the community. As a political subdivision of the State of Texas, Midland County Utility District (MCUD) operates under the governance of a five-member board of directors. Elected in accordance with the state water code, our board ensures transparent decision-making, effective resource management, and responsible service delivery to our community.
