The first phase of linking constituents to the MCUD water supply involves the construction of underground distribution lines to the new Greenwood ISD High School, and to the new Midland County Detention Facility. The anticipated date for substantial completion is April 2026.

The next phase of Project A will be to build tanks both on the ground and an elevated water tank. Storage is an important component to any water delivery system.

Reverse Osmosis Plant Construction

A reverse osmosis system will treat the raw water collected by the facility and make it safe to drink. This sophisticated system is an essential part of the MCUD water system.
